It’s Okay If You Let Social Networking Lapse

But it’s time to get back in the game.  This Facebook Twittering FourSquare world we live in is only going to grow as more consumers begin using it.

How are you going to make sure you’re part of it?

I know far too many entrepreneurial retailers who got started, only to stop a few days or weeks into their Facebook Fan page or Twitter account.

Here are a few ways to beat the overwhelm:

  1. 1.Pick only one or two social media outlets. For more retailers, Facebook, Twitter or Foursquare are going to be the most relevant

  2. 2.Commit to do a little bit each day. On Facebook, post once a day. On Twitter, post two to three times a day. Soon enough you’ll find your fans and followers are joining conversations and even starting their own.

  3. 3.Relax. Not feeling inspired one day? It’s okay to skip a day. We all have those days when we don’t have the creative mojo
